We have built a ceremonial space in the heart of the forest, where we hold Ayahuasca healing retreats. This retreat in the Manu rainforest is in a magical, immersive, safe, authentic, and unforgettable setting.

It’s a space with all the amenities to make you feel comfortable, just like at home, while surrounded by crystal-clear rivers and pristine forests.

Trip Overview of our Ayahuasca Retreat

  • Tour localization: Our Ayahuasca healing retreat is located in the southeastern zone of the Peruvian Amazon jungle; exactly in the Manu National Park, 5 hours from Cusco.
  • Tour type: 4 days and 3-night Ayahuasca ceremony in the Peruvian Amazon jungle, in the same Cusco and Machu Picchu regions.
  • Good for: Everybody, done in small groups from 4 to 10 or privately
  • Difficulty: Not trekking, but a lot of walking around the forest.
  • Season: All year around.

Important Note:

During our 4-day Ayahuasca retreat, we conduct two Ayahuasca ceremonies. This is intentional, as two ceremonies—each lasting approximately 5 to 6 hours—create a profound accumulation of diverse visions and experiences. These visions require time to be carefully processed and properly interpreted by our shamans during the following days, ensuring deep understanding and integration.

If you do not have enough time to travel to the Amazon jungle of Cusco, we also offer 1-day and 2-day Ayahuasca retreats in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, located just 2 hours from Cusco and Machu Picchu. Please explore our spiritual retreat options in the tabs below:

  • 1-Day Ayahuasca Ceremony in Cusco
  • 2-Day Ayahuasca Healing in Cusco

Preparation is essential for a deep and healing Ayahuasca experience. A strict nutritional, physical, emotional, and spiritual pre-diet is required, and participants must be disciplined and committed to the process.

For those planning to hike to Machu Picchu, we have designed unique and exclusive itineraries that combine the best of traditional trekking routes with complementary practices such meditation, and a specialized diet aligned with Ayahuasca preparation.

This Ayahuasca journey begins with a pickup from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. The activities included in this 4-day Ayahuasca retreat are presented in the order in which they will take place.

1. Explore the Ninamarca Tombs and Paucartambo

We will depart by private vehicle for a 1 hour and 30 minute drive to Ninamarca, where we will stop for approximately 15 minutes to explore a series of Pre-Inca funerary towers (chullpas) built by the Lupaca people.

Afterward, we will continue with a 20-minute drive to Paucartambo, a picturesque colonial town famous for:

  • The Virgen del Carmen Festival (July), one of Peru’s most vibrant celebrations featuring Andean and Amazonian dances
  • Tres Cruces de Oro, renowned for offering one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world

Paucartambo is characterized by its white-and-blue painted houses and cobblestone streets dating back to colonial times. Here, we will visit the colonial church and enjoy breakfast with a local family, offering insight into traditional Andean life.

2. Descent to Tres Cruces de Oro and the Manu Cloud Forest

We will drive 30 minutes to Tres Cruces de Oro, where the landscape begins to change dramatically. From this point, we descend from the Andean highlands into the cloud forest of the Manu rainforest.

Along the way, we will stop at a waterfall and take a 30-minute guided walk to observe wildlife. Possible sightings include:

  • Andean cock-of-the-rock
  • Andean motmot
  • Great Andean toucan
  • Spider monkeys

We will then board our private vehicle for a 30-minute drive to a special location known for hummingbird sightings. Afterward, we continue for 1 hour to reach our Ayahuasca retreat deep in the Manu forest.

3. Meditation by the River

After a light lunch, we will walk to the banks of a crystal-clear river for a guided meditation session. This practice is designed to help participants relax, de-stress, and center themselves. It also serves as preparation to better channel and understand the visions experienced during the Ayahuasca ceremony.

4. Ritual River Bath with Sacred Sounds

Following the meditation, we will take a purifying bath in the river. Water has been used for thousands of years by civilizations around the world as a powerful natural cleanser of both body and spirit.

While bathing and refreshing ourselves, our shaman will play traditional musical instruments, creating an atmosphere of deep healing and energetic purification.

5. Meeting with the Shaman

We will gather for an introductory meeting with the shaman who will lead the Ayahuasca ceremony. During this session, he will explain:

  • How the ceremony will be conducted
  • How to navigate and better control visions
  • What to expect physically, mentally, and spiritually

Participants will also have the opportunity to share expectations and ask questions.

6. Dinner and Group Sharing

We will end the day with dinner at the retreat, followed by a relaxed group conversation where participants can share reflections and experiences from the first day in the Manu rainforest.

Day 02 Visit The House Of Hummingbirds– First Ayahuasca Ceremony.
  • Family house altitude: 689 meters above sea level.
  • Considered: We will perform many Ayahuasca spiritual activities, that will help you to have a deeper Ayahuasca experience.
  • Weather: Hot and humid with mosquitoes
1. Visit to the Hummingbird House

We begin the day with a varied and organic buffet breakfast, lovingly prepared by our chef. After breakfast, we’ll board a van for a scenic 40-minute drive to Inkamazonia, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe hummingbirds, tanagers, toucans, the Amazonian condor, and monkeys in their natural habitat.

From there, we’ll continue by van for 20 minutes to Atalaya, a small port on the Madre de Dios River. Here, we’ll embark on a 30-minute boat journey to explore the beautiful Atalaya rapids, surrounded by the lush Amazon rainforest.

2. Meditation with Music

We’ll return to the retreat around 2:00 PM for a light yet nourishing lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll take part in a meaningful conversation with our shaman, followed by a guided meditation session.

The meditation will be accompanied by instrumental music, natural forest sounds, or binaural beats, carefully chosen to deepen your practice. This experience is designed to help you connect mind and body, expand awareness, and access higher states of consciousness.

3. Ayahuasca Ceremony

The ayahuasca ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM and is expected to conclude around midnight, although the duration may vary depending on the needs of the group and the flow of the ceremony.

The retreat is led and guided by our head shaman, with experienced coordinators present throughout the night to provide support and assistance as needed.

Experiencing ayahuasca in the Amazon jungle offers a profound connection to divinity, nature, and the universe. The nocturnal sounds of the animals, the gentle music of the river, and the living presence of the forest create a truly magical atmosphere filled with powerful energetic frequencies.

Day 03 Integration– Floral Spiritual Bath –Activities– Second Ayahuasca Ceremony.
  • Family house altitude: 689 meters above sea level.
  • Considered: We will perform many Ayahuasca spiritual activities, that will help you to have a deeper Ayahuasca experience.
  • Weather: Hot and humid with mosquitoes
1. Ayahuasca Integration

After breakfast, we gathered for a group integration session to share and interpret the emotions, visions, and insights experienced during the ayahuasca ceremony. Our groups are intentionally small—between four and six participants—which creates a safe, intimate, and dynamic space for reflection, connection, and mutual understanding.

2. Floral Spiritual Bath

Dressed in our swimsuits, we prepared for a flower bathing ceremony in one of the nearby rivers. This ritual begins with carefully plucking petals from flowers and roses, which are placed into a vessel along with aromatic plants and water consecrated by our shaman. One by one, the shaman gently poured the infused water over each participant.

The flower bathing ceremony is an ancestral Andean and Amazonian ritual used for spiritual purification. It helps cleanse negative energies, attract good fortune, prosperity, and love, and support emotional renewal. This sacred practice is also intended to relieve stress, mark the beginning of new cycles, and deepen our connection with nature.

3. Biking and Tubing Activity

We then embarked on a 45-minute bike ride to the Hospital River, a crystal-clear river surrounded by lush natural scenery. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a relaxing tubing experience, allowing the gentle current to carry us downstream.

4. Second Ayahuasca Ceremony

Around 2:00 PM, we returned to the retreat for a light lunch, followed by rest and preparation. After a short nap, we gathered again to prepare ourselves—physically, mentally, and spiritually—for the second ayahuasca ceremony of the retreat.

Day 4 Integration– Floral Spiritual Bath –Activities.

We had breakfast, followed by a group icebreaker. After planting one tree per person and enjoying our flower bath, we prepared to return to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m.
