Overview

Our 2 days Ayahuasca and Wachuma ceremony in Cusco is ideal for those who seek to learn about the healing and integrating powers of these two master plants. The Ayahuasca is a feminine spirit that helps you to carry out a deep introspection and to awaken cosmically from the interior of your divinity, while the Wachuma is the masculine spirit that opens your heart and connects you with much love with everything that surrounds us.

Ayahuasca is a plant used by the Amazonian people approximately 4,000 years ago, while Wachuma was used by the Pre-Inca and Inca civilizations about 5,000 years ago in the Peruvian Andes. Both the Amazon and the Andes are 2 powerful places to perform healing therapies with sacred plants.

  • The groups are small, from 4 to 10 people maximum; this number of people allows the healer / shaman to have adequate control of the energies and frequencies of the participants.
  • We do a 3-hour Andean hike and a meditation session in front of a powerful waterfall before performing our Ayahuasca ceremony during the night.
  • The price of the 2 days Ayahuasca and Wachuma ceremonies includes an English translator, which is very important when performing the interpretation of the Ayahuasca visions and to communicate fluently with our shaman.

      • Ayahuasca Retreat house altitude: 2,972 meters above sea level.
      • Weather: Dry and cold.

To start this 2-day ceremony with Ayahuasca and Wachuma, we will pick you up from your hotel at 7 am. to then go for 1 hour to the community of Socma, this is a town in the sacred valley dedicated to the cultivation of potatoes and corn. After getting ready, we will walk for 2 hours uphill to the beautiful waterfall of Perolniyoc. This ascent is not very steep and allows you to see a lot of flowers and medicinal plants such as: eucalyptus, muña, tarwi, chilca and huacatay to mention a few.

      1. Perolniyoc waterfall

A sound full of peace and immensity will welcome us, the Perolniyoc waterfall has a height of 70 meters. Its waters come from sacred glaciers (Apus) for the people of the Andes. In this place we will take impressive photos with our hearts and we will have a Munay meditation session, together with our guide and spiritual translator. Meditation is an ancient technique that helps de-stress and balance the body, mind and spirit. Imagine how powerful it is to perform a meditation next to a water source. An element used by all civilizations in the world as a purifying element. Undoubtedly, this previous connection with nature will help you to better integrate with the medicine of Ayahuasca and Wachuma. Then we make a 40-minute descent to the town of Socma, where our private transportation is waiting for us.

      1. Visit the sacred precinct of Ñaupa church

This energetic and sacred place is located just 40 minutes from Perolniyoc. Once we arrive at Ñaupa Iglesia, we will ascend for 20 minutes to the main sanctuary, where we will perform an integration meditation. Ñaupa Iglesia is an Inca site used 600 years ago to perform spiritual ceremonies, constellation observation and Ayahuasca and Wachuma retreats. Afterwards, we will board our transportation for 1 hour to our retreat house located in Pisac.

      1. Coca leaf reading ceremony

The coca leaf is a sacred bush from the Peruvian Amazon, which is widely used in the Andes by shamans and healers to perform deep diagnoses of physical, mental and spiritual illness. The reading ceremony with coca leaves is very important, since the Ayahuasquero shamans of this form can detect deep problems that could guide and balance in a better way during the Wachuma and Ayahuasca ceremony.

      1. Cleansing Negative Energies

With this ceremony, our Ayahuasquero healer opens the chakras to balance the spirit, and prepares you inside and out prior our integrative Ayahuasca and Wachuma ceremony. Our chaman also purifies and cleanses the negative energies of karma and bad vibrations accumulated in the body.

      1. Ayahuasca ceremony

The Ayahuasca ceremony will begin around 8 pm. and will last approximately 5 hours. During the ritual, our Ayahuasquero shaman will be in charge of supplying the patients with the Ayahuasca brew, balancing the energy, frequency and vibration of the participants, in addition to performing magical songs (Icaros) to guide their soul when coming into contact with the Ayahuasca. At all times you will be taken care of by our coordinators who will be available to help you 24/7 in everything you need. After the Ayahuasca healing therapy, our coordinators will take you to your respective rooms so you get you bed safely.

** The sacred valley of Cusco is very close to the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu, therefore it is also a magical and energetic place to perform an Ayahuasca therapy.

NOTE: The rooms are shared by two Ayahuasca lovers and the bathrooms are outside the rooms and are shared as well. We have a capacity of 5 twin rooms and 5 bathrooms.

      1. Interpretation of the visions of Ayahuasca

After our integrating ceremony of Ayahuasca, the second most important thing is the interpretation of the revelations and the symbolism obtained at the time of performing the ritual. Ayahuasca is a master plant that teaches through metaphors and symbolism that need to be interpreted correctly by our shamans and also by each of the participants. Our Ayahuasquero shaman will provide an interpretation of his visions based on his wisdom and experience.

      1. Flowering bath

his is a ceremony used anciently to eliminate the negative energy that invades our body, mind and spirit. This ceremony is performed with organic plants and flowers and is an important complement to the Ayahuasca ceremonies.

      1. Wachuma ceremony

The Wachuma ceremony starts at 11 am. and it will take place next to an energetic lagoon located just a 20-minute walk from our Ayahuasca retreat house.
